[CHICKENS-101] Re: [Chickens101] rooster temperment

 

If a rooster is aggressive, I don't try to pick him up until he is settled on the roost for the night. I have lured them with treats sometimes, but don't like to startle them by grabbing them. Since I bring in my roosters every night (I live in a "no chickens allowed" suburb) they are used to being handled and petted on a daily basis.
