I number the egg cartons. I started with 1 and then so on. I’m now up to number 98. Right now I have 12 dozen eggs in my refrigerator. I sell them to a few people, but some of these now have their own chickens. I have trouble giving them away because people say they don’t eat many eggs. I’m getting tired of eggs. I’ve been feeding the oldest ones back to the chickens. I keep the oldest ones on the top shelf and I fill up the highest numbered boxes. If I empty a box, I cross out the old number and write a new.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] how do you mark eggs?
How do all of you mark/date your eggs? In order to keep them rotated in your frig? I've been using a permant marker and putting the date they are laid on them.
