<<No help on the white yolk but does any one have tried and true suggestions on hard boiling fresh eggs. Never was a prob pealing store bought but eggs only a day or two old or less do not peal the best.>>
I haven't tried it with really fresh eggs--but I think it was someone on here who suggested this. As soon as you are done boiling (and cooling) the eggs, roll and crack the shells while they are still underwater. The water that seeps inside the shells seems to work beautifully with slipping the shells off once you do peel them.
