[CHICKENS-101] Hen on eggs

 

I have a small variety of hens and one silkie rooster.� He�s very docile.� The Polish hen is sitting on eggs and has been for a number of days straight.� The hens are one silkie, the Polish, one barred rock, and several red sex links.� I have only seen the roo mate with the silkie hen, but I haven�t really been watching for this.�

My question is what are the chances of this hen sitting on eggs that are fertile?� Do docile roosters (he was henpecked at first) mate with all the hens?�
