They're mostly called some version of "Game". They tend to stand tall, rather upright, some white, some brightly colored. Light bodied, warm climate birds mostly. Some are rather small, some quite big. Aseels are one, and they are big.
Look up Key West Chickens and you'll see pictures of the type. They're pretty good sized birds, standard RIR size. Probably can find "fighting chickens" on here too. Why not, there's everything else. It's an "under the radar" thing.
And there are strains, usually labeled with a person's name. Won't be a breed name you'd recognize or even be able to find. They're around. Be cautious. You MUST keep the roosters separate. Pictures I've seen had rows of them, each one on a leash maybe 5 ft. long, tied by the leg to a post, each with his own barrel for shelter.
The hens are excellent mothers of the "touch my babies and you die!" variety.
