One of the girls has developed a bald spot on her back from my big boy's rough mating. it doesn't look inflamed or anything but is completely featherless.
two concerns: with the cold weather I bet this is really uncomfortable for her and although the boys seem to have moved on to other conquests, how long before the feathers grow back (should I do anything?)?
I don't want to separate her due to pervious troubles with reintroductions. suggestions are appreciated.
