Tell 'em you value your poultry and don't' want anything to happen to them. You're a good chicken mom. Mine were about the same, and I had to start letting them out because this summer's temps were getting too hot in the coop. I hate it, and if I'm not right here they don't get out, but if it wasn't so hot they'd still be in too. We have way too many predators, for me to feel safe leaving them out. As it stands even my miniature horses stand in the pens at night, because we do have lions and such.
