Those easy to peel egg things I've read are pretty cool. Only thing is you get a funny shaped egg. Now I was reading reviews on them one time, someone said something about cracking 2 eggs per container, if I remember right that was to combat the odd shape of the egg.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Easy to peel eggs
I saw a product at the store on one of those "AS SEEN ON TV" shelves of items. They were hard plastic egg shaped containers. The instructions said to crack an egg and pour the contents into the egg shaped container and boil. When boiled, you just open the container and voile', an easy to peel boiled egg.
It was $10 and I am trying to cut back expenses, so I didn't buy it....but that would be one way to guarantee they'd be easy to peel!

PS..this subject has been around and around and around.....and many have their own way of combating the hard to peel boiled egg. My tried and true method is to boil the eggs and after five minutes, turn off the heat and let them sit until the water is room temperature. They peel just fine. I don't rush the cooling method with cold water or ice.
