it was on top a a trash can my bf stopped to get it, the trash had been put out for the trash men to come the next morning. it had been sitting there all day then that evening my bf stopped to get it bc i said if it was still there after 5 hrs then it was meant to be thrown out.

Maybe the saddle was stolen and was ditched along side the road so they would not get caught.  Or blew out of a truck whose door came open during traveling. Did you check with the county police? Cathryn
