Carol, The apple and grapefruit are nice snacks for your chicks.  I give my older chicks apple too; don't buy citrus, I'm allergic so I have no idea if mine would try it or not.  Cath

thanks, they are out side, we have been letting them peck at a half of grapefruit,( I hope that's ok) and a half eaten apple, which they love..

only small amts at a time.

I cant wait till they get to the laying stage!!
