Knowing how much of a beggar Rachel is, and how demanding the two can be, that bell would never stop ringing! Paula is more stand-offish, but Rachel has started sticking her head through the bars of the brooder cage and chirping right at me until I take her out and hold her! (And then, of course, Paula gets jealous and has to be cuddled as well.) I had no idea they'd be so loving.
