Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: OT cardioversion

Marilyn, I am so sorry that your husband is going thru so much.  How scary for him and you.  I will add my prayers to yours for him too for the tumor to not be cancer and that his heart heals.  Cathryn

My husband goes in tomorrow for the removal of his adrenal gland and a tumor attached that we hope will not  rear its big ugly head as cancer.
We are tired of the coumadin and the heart meds too!
He was cardioverted a few months ago!
So, I have secured all of my 36 chickens/roos in their coops and they will just not enjoy free ranging for a couple of days.
I feel better knowing they are in lock down with me away.
Though I do have 5 neighbors scheduled to check in , feed up, and fill the water containers.
Also, one of the neighbors has invited our 16 year old golden retriever to sleep over until we return.
The hound dog will remain on chicken watch.
Our daughter and her hubby are driving in from Houston to stay a few days, but she has no clue what to do for any of the animals.
Now, if you need a suggestion on what to wear, she can fit you right up. She is in management with Chico's.
My silkies (9) are in their own private coop and plenty of food and water for them in place.
They are so spoiled. and soooo cute.!
Smiles, Marilyn
