Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: frost bite

Yes, duramyacine would work great, and her own coop, pine bedding, or clean, dry hay and or straw would work better than a hospital cage. Because you are making small amounts of medicine water for one chicken, a tsp in a quart of water, would be a good dose.  Watch her water, if it starts to turn golden and or brown, make up new.  Keep it in the coop in a shaded/away from sunlight place. Make up new at least every 12/24 hours, depending on your temperatures.
When I pick chicken weed treats (for a chicken who does not feel well) I carry a pair of kitchen scissors and chop them up small as I gather them.  If you have wheat you can give her some wheat, or cockatiel seeds with pellets too. Supplementing her feed for extra nutrition is critical for her well being.  When you make your dinner, you can save her a little bit of your meat or cooked egg, and  give it to her diced small for extra protein.  She'll be spoiled but should recover fine.  Please remember no oyster shell while on the med, no layer pellet because the calcium counter acts the antibiotic.
