Re: [CHICKENS-101] ?

Thank you Tina.  Old Miss Buffy is inside too and has been since Christmas Day when the power went off.

You are more than welcome.   I hate to loose birds (house and chicken) and feel the same for others.  I did loose one yesterday.  Very old and ancient black Princess Tinkerbell Snicklefritz passed away in her sleep, in the house, next to the heat, with a full tubed crop that included baby aspirin for pain so her passing would be peaceful. This was her third winter she came in. (Cames in when summer was too hot the last couple of summers too) This time was her last, she was too old to save even though she always had lights/heat in her pen. She was one of the few of the most beautiful I have ever raised and talked to me. Complaining when it was too hot or too cold, and talked to tell me about her day.
Chickens who live to 9 almost 10 years, show champion at many shows, deserve to pass quietly, with petting, and warmth.
