What do Monsanto and Coke have in common? They've both spent millions of dollars to keep you in the dark about the foods you buy. After the narrow defeat in Washington, the public learned that Coca-Cola had secretly contributed more than $1.5 million to the campaign against the labeling of genetically engineered foods in the state. Coca-Cola also contributed more than $1.7 million to defeat labeling in California the year before, making the company one of the largest contributors to the defeat of state labeling efforts. That's why Center for Food Safety has joined forces with the Food Revolution Network to launch the Coke Boycott Campaign. Over the coming months, we're going to be engaging hundreds of thousands of people worldwide to spread the word about Coca-Cola's secret campaign contributions, and encouraging people to boycott Coca-Cola brands until they agree to cease any and all financial contributions to anti-GMO labeling efforts. Join the 200,000 people who have already joined the Coke Boycott Campaign! In addition to its iconic soft drinks, the company owns many brands marketed as healthier alternatives--including organic and non-GMO products--including Honest Tea, Honest Kids, Peace Tea, Zico Coconut Water, Odwalla, Vitamin Water, Simply Orange, and Powerade. According to Bloomberg News, these Coca-Cola brands played a major role in a 13% increase in their fourth-quarter profits in 2012. Center for Food Safety and the Food Revolution Network are gearing up to bring this fight to Coke in a big way, and we need your voice behind us. Help us by joining the Coke Boycott Campaign! P.S.
