When I was younger, I would toast a piece of bread and drop the yolk on the edge and then pierce the yolk with a knife and pour the yolk into a bowl. I was able to get the yolk without a single bit of white. I'll try this method next time. Currently, I just pour the egg into my hand and hold the white as the yolk runs into the bowl. That works, but its messy and not something I want to do in front of company, even with the cleanest of hands!
