Re: [CHICKENS-101] Chickens in the cold

One of my hamburgs went feral for a few weeks and when I finally saw her I sent my English Shepherd after her. Without any exaggeration I watched that darn bird shoot straight up and go more than 400 yards away at about 30 feet in the air.

For this and other things I considered hamburgs particularly annoying, lol.

The majority of my other birds are quite happy to return to their house every night!

Interesting comments on flying chickens. From time to time I get asked why don't your chickens fly away and my answer is they are Happy here. Only had to go after one of the youngest, that one had decided the grass looked greener in the neighbors yard.
