So I just got a call from my husband.... our rooster Cogburn is dead. No feathers missing, no blood, crop soft, no apparent reason for death. He just killed over in the coop. He was just fine out running around before I put them up for the night last night. I'll ask my step-son if he noticed anything when he let them out this morning but he is a preteen that doesn't notice much lol! I do remember hearing him crowing while I fed the horses early this morning. That would have been about 6am before the sun came up. Any ideas on what happened to my roo?
Thanks,
Em
