[CHICKENS-101] Re: Rooster chasing my pullet

 

Emily, you sound so much like my daughter. She's VERY close to her chickens, especially the hens and she can't stand seeing the hens "raped" by the roosters. We've gone through ALOT of roosters, until we found ones who were gentle and respectful to the hens. She has one village that's just hens, and no rooster at all. 6 sweet little Banty girls, SO cute and so beautiful...we call that village "The Girls Club". The hens don't need, and for the most part don't like roosters at all. I wouldn't let a rooster hurt the hens. Do you really need one?
