this is really funny.
About the mean Barnie, I have found that the ones that were quite a handful as youngsters do become more managable as they mature and by one year old or so they usually aren't as bratty as they used to be. I have a Golden Laced Wyandotte whom I nick-named henzilla because she acted like a roo trying to attack and bite me, age and some strategically dropped plastic bowls that 'accidentally" bumped her when she came at me have solved the problem "don't want to get near that big bird that keeps fumbling those bowls that hit me" kind of thing.
