I am so sorry Debbie about your rooster. Chickens seem to find trouble easily on their own. Doesn't it seem like we have to stand and study everything around them to try and figure out what they can get into to get hurt and/or killed by next.

I don't know if it is the weather or what but it must be chicken killing
season.
Last night my only rooster flew into the dog paddock WITH THE DOGS.
Needless to say the dogs won.
Poor roo - he was such a nice boy, not too bright but really nice. We
will miss him.
