Thanks Cathryn and Marlene,
And sorry for the double-post. I couldn't find my original one and figured I hit the wrong button and deleted it...
I am following all your suggestions...she is eating...seems to like hot dog buns soaked in milk best...I'm feeding her a fresh treat every hour or two and she is eating them and seems a little stronger this morning. Last night her crop seemed fairly full unlike the day before. I examined every part of her and can't see anything obviously wrong (like an injury). How would I put ivermectin on her rear end? Externally, on her skin? What kind of ivermectin - I have the oral for sheep and the injectable for cattle on hand. I have so much to learn about chickens - I'm good with dogs, horses and sheep but birds are new to me.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to offer advice.
Take care,
Alisa

Time is not on your side. There is a good chance you can save her. If you have ivermectim, I would put two small drops on her backside too.Â
