Subject: [CHICKENS-101] selling eggs
I sell eggs, neighbors, acquainances, passers by who see the sign.
Now I only have about three dozen or so a day, we are getting more chickens in the spring. Our chickens molted from end of Oct to beginning of Dec, ( think our mild Mass winter really loused up their moulting, even today end of Feb 55degrees, last year below zero with non stop snow storms.
Ok, I sell for 2.00 a dozen, less than some others, but, look into
Livestock auctions, we have them in the abutting town of Swansea, Mass,
if and whn, I have extra eggs (large brown eggs preffered, I think it it is a NewEngland Think about brown eggs, I can leave them off Monday,
and the auction is in the evening. I can check back on tuesday am. to see if any eggs have sold and how much money I made.
Many do frequent the auctions, like high end food markets, etc.
