EVO, dry cat food is the highest in protein at 50%. Ferret diet is also high in protein coming in at just under that. They're both a small, round pellet easy for chickens to eat.

Meal worms are great however, the way they gobble them down you'll have a hard time keeping up with the demand. I use them as treats during the molt or whenever I want to persuade them to do something they don't want to do ;)
