[CHICKENS-101] Incubator help needed

I got my replacement bator on Sunday. Let it heat up, temp and humidity just right. Put in eggs in homemade egg cups. Cleaned after first use. Styrofoam carton cut for air flow.
Now I can't get the humidity to go above 50%! I have put water in, sponges, a lid with water. Ideas? Suggestions? Will this effect chance of hatch?

-I have used a bator before, so I know how it works, just can't get the humidity up. This bator is in the same location as the one I used before. Nothing has changed, except for the bator itself.
My setting girls have decided they aren't ready to commit this year yet. Much to my dismay. And I have Sultan eggs I really want to hatch. The Sultans are mine and they should be fertile. Trust me. I've never seen such a randy roo before. No wonder she's always pecking at him! LOL! They are currently caged in my living room, so a frequent show is always going on.
