....sigh*! Well, I know Californian's are "The Chosen Ones"....but couldn't they choose someone else sometimes?! Hee! It does get tiring to Californians, hearing how our tires will be slashed if we go to Texas with a California plate...or never say the word "California" if you are in Oregon.......I know this was discussed on this list before so I won't be-labor the point...but I've never heard any Californians say they hated any other state. Like I said, most of us, if we see an out of state liscence, we'll go out of our way to help them.

But it's funny that you mention dividing this state. True enough, this idea comes up alot, and you are right, NORTHERN California is worlds different from Southern California. Southern California is what gives California the bad name! Even Northern Californians don't like the "Southies" . But Southern Calif. has all the money, so if we split the state, Northern Calif. would suffer. Northern Calif. has all the water though, so the state kinda needs to stay together. They say Northern California is California's best kept secret. We used to live in Napa, for 25 years, and it's our plan to someday sell our place here on the Central coast, and move all the way up to Redding or Cottonwood. We love that area. Property values have plummited up there, so were hoping to sell here and have enough to get a bigger place up there. More room for chickens, don-cha-know!
