Re: [CHICKENS-101] Ebay Eggs

Terri, So if you sent  bad, old eggs, shit covered eggs, that slosh inside, the buyer would have to pay shipping to get what they paid for?  I find that highway robbery; I'd have to pay shipping again when fresh, fertile hatching eggs should have been sent in the first place.  I am out 32.95 for spoiled eggs.
I am NPIP and I never buy eggs unless I see something I could use in my flocks.  I have very nice silkies of my own. Cathryn

Concerning the Ebay seller who sold the bad eggs...I also sell my hatching eggs on Ebay.

My little hobby farm is NPIP certified, and I have 100% positive feedback. I have only had 2-3 folks tell me that none of the eggs hatched! I also will replace the eggs for free, if they pay shipping, which is always the exact amount. I think you have to treat people the way you expect them to treat you. They always get extras and a surprise egg, usually a duck or goose egg, which I mark for them.

The main reason for selling eggs, is to enjoy sharing the love of hatching and raising these birds. I would never want to send eggs that do the exact opposite! It's never about the money. I mean, after packing, paper, ink, the actual eggs, and the time, well, how much can you really profit?

I have met some of the best people from this hobby, a lot of them from Ebay, and from nearly every state! Chicken folks are the very best!

Anyway, sorry so long a post, but had to throw in my 2 cents worth.

Some of us ebay sellers are doing it the right way!:-)And loving it!
