[CHICKENS-101] Re: Ooops I did it again...! on dubbing.

I know dubbing is not something we can "discuss" here and I won't take this any further. I AM adamantly against it....I think sometimes we get stuck in a rut as far as standards and customs and we forget that we can step out of them when the "need" for them is outdated and considered unnessary.  I probably won't be able to show my Moderns, but I WILL campaign  for a class that will allow undubbed Moderns. Sorry for rambling here, but many years ago, I used to be involved with Tennessee Walking Horses. The TWH breed industry is very split over show styles which can be so brutal they have attracted national attention, and a regular, un-mutilated TWH.  It was a terrible and bitter fight, and it still rages on to some degree. But today, the regular, plain, unscarred TWH is gaining such appraise, that the old cruel showers are dwindling.  Perhaps it will be the same for Modern Games!

And I absolutely agree with de-horning goats! Ouch!

Friends,

Deb Buckler

To me it is something you do, just like I disbud and tattoo my goat kids. I hate it, they hate it but it had to be done, period. Funny enough they get over it before I do. LOL Carolyn
