PS Ronna it is a bit weird to answer the same questions on other groups. Many people belong to other groups so when you post the same questions on 3-4 groups, we all see your posts.
Ronna, I tried my silkies with my standard breeds and my egg layer chickens were mean to them. If you are going to get larger hatchery bred silkies rather than the vaulted skull show/pet, they might be ok. Even George keeps his silkis separate from his egg layers.
