No .... Cargill is not Purina ... Nestle Purina PetCare Company ownes
Purina. Cargill did have a 5.3% ownership at one point and may still
have. But that would hardly equate to ownership. Now Cargill does
provide the sales pipeline to Purina outside the US .... makes sense in
a business context. If Cargill still has a vested interest selling more
product gives them better stock prices and enhances their bottom line.
Now Cargill does own Nutrena, Agway feeds and Acco Feeds so they are a
big force in the local ( US ) feed market.
Now lets play nice ..... EVERYONE :-)
