Jewel, I prefer olive oil over mineral oil. Never use canola oil. Canola is poisonous to birds. I learned that in a disease class at MSU. I'd use a food oil over mineral oil. Cath

I was wondering if there is something else that would help a hen with a backed up crop besides mineral oil that I may have in the house. The store is far away. Just wondering if we could save some time and gas.
