If it were me I'd be super careful about their being GMO (genetically altered) and if chemicals were used on the fields the soy was grown on too.
There's so much information out there now about soy not being near as good for you as it touts. And a lot of that tracks back to genetically altered seeds and chemically-sprayed fields.

I am not very knowledgeable about chickens, basically I am a newbie.
However, to me Soy Hulls does not sound very filling or nutritional as it would
just be the hulls and that does not seem very nutritious. I may be wrong but
just my opinion.

Hi! I have 28 laying hens, and I raise some (5-10) broilers every summer.
In the summer, the chickens get to be outside (though fenced in, or they
would be cat- or dog-food very quickly), but not now that it's winter. I
feed them a layer feed from my local feed store, plus any appropriate kitchen
scraps such as grapes and apple cores. My neighbor recently suggested I
start feeding my chickens soy hulls in addition to the feed-store feed, as
the price of the feed is climbing! It is now at about $.25/lb, while soy
hulls are $80/ton. Does anyone else feed soy hulls? What do you think of
them? If I use soy hulls, how much should I feed? Thanks for your help!
