We have immunized/sanitized ourselves into poor immune systems. Must
we do that to our birds too?

I am not a big fan of immunizations. The logic is valid, but the
execution is flawed. Since many vaccines are created in chicken eggs,
I suppose the stray chicken protein won't really hurt a...chicken.
However; it has been linked to SUBACUTE SCLEROSING PANENCEPHALITIS in
humans. In order to obfuscate the link, the descriptive medical name
has been replaced by a behavioral characteristic name. Can you guess
what this disorder is called in the media?
