OK, I'm confused. I've read a bit from searches on Mareks, but it's confusing.
Here are my questions:
1. My birds are all 7 months or older. If I introduce birds from a farm that has
had some Mareks birds, but the ones I got weren't in close contact, how long
should they be quarantined?
2. If I don't plan to breed my own chicks, am I safe(r)?
3. If Marek's takes weeks to show, can we continue to eat the eggs (no rooster
so none fertilized) produced in the meantime?
Thanks for your help.

I go along with Cathryn on this. Breed for immunity! A NEVER, EVER bring home a
bird from a source that you don't know to be Mareks free. Isolating a bird isn't
