Re: [CHICKENS-101] Crying

Labhaoise, i am so sorry.  I wish there was a way you could be grandfathered in and keep your girls.  How sad and heartbreaking.  Can you get a date when the ordinance was changed?  They have to let you keep them if you had them before the date of change.  I'd go to my local consumer protection agency. Here in MI it is in my sheriff's department. Cathryn

Somewhere between when I last checked and now, town changed form 3 acres to 5, to keep "farm animals". Wouldn't be a problem, but my "favorite" nieghbor filed a complaint.

I have ten days to get rid of my girls.... <WAAAAHHHHH!>

He tried threatening my daughter, and claiming the girls injured one of the neighbors first. She's a black belt, and I had dropped in on the neighbor.... so, off to town hall.

It seems the girls eat the bird seed he spreads on the drive, and then leave him goodies. Well?

The kids and I will miss them, but so will the neighborhood, many of them arrainge their afternoon walks to stop and see the girls playing on the lawn...

Well if anyone is in the Connecticut area, and is looking for some more girls for thier flock.....

Labhaoise
