He hasn't crowed yet...hoping as the sun comes up this morning. LOL! He was mostly quiet on the way home, but he did start talking to my son about 30 minutes from home.
I can't get over how soft he is!! And, yes, I'm completely and totally smitten with him. He's a li'l lover!! ♥
I gave my girlfriend 2 RIR's and you 3...leaving me 5. Although 2 of them absolutely do not look like RIR's. LOL! This morning those remaining were eyeing me suspiciously. The abnormally large orange-red one came up to me though...and proceeded to bite me. I scooped her up & crooned to her, promised her she wasn't going anywhere and she went about her chicken business. Apparently even chickens need reassurance at times! Ha ha!!
