Please tell me more about the use of Sevin.
Is this something that I should be putting IN the coop to keep bugs and such from getting on and/or botherin my Ladies? Or should I be using it around the OUTSIDE of the coop? Do I need to worry about it getting on the eggs? If I put this on my veggies, do I need to worry about giving the treated plants to the flock to eat?
Thanks so much!
Quite a bit of discussion on Sevin on the Backyard Chicken forum http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/591258/sevin-dust
Personally, I'd use it only as a last resort, and keep it out of the garden (very toxic to bees)
Besides, one reason I got chickens was to control insects in the garden w/o pesticides  :-)
