Mr. Basketball is WONDERFUL. Such a good guy. He feeds the hens things. Picks it up, and holds it for a hen to take. Only eats it himself if nobody takes it. Mrs. Basketball enjoys being picked up and held, she's a happy hen, you will enjoy her. Good idea on the eggplants. Yeah, I know "Murphy". Dead David was one, so by default I was a Murphy too, for 4 1/2 years! I'll pick up 2 more plants! No such thing as too many eggplants here. The chickens or skunks will eat any extras. And my veggie eating cat! My dtr. will be here in 3 days with her youngest boy. Guess the son-in-law isn't coming. I win! ![]() Some of the plants came in "9 paks". I dug 1 hole and shoved all 9 little plants into it. I think that's not the way it's supposed to be done. Me and gardening don't interact well. I'm getting a little 6 inch wide electric tiller. The ground here is a sea of snall roots that I'd like to chew up. Hope you are sleeping away and have a calm, restful night. Georgia --- On Wed, 3/31/10, CathrynTherese Fitch Walden <cathryntherese@
