[CHICKENS-101] Re: Crop Problem - advice please

I called Twin State and left a msg but didn't hear back til late the next day and I had just gone ahead and ordered the 4 in 1 powder. It says on the jar that you should use the AvioEntro-Mune w/ it which seems to not help the crop canker problem. I will use the 4 in 1 anyway starting tomorrow but quite honestly I'm preparing myself mentally for the reality that I should really cull my whole flock of 12, which consists mostly of 7+ old hens. It's warm here now thankfully but there's so much sneezing going on in the coop and quite honestly I'm just drained from all the chicken problems I've had, all the effort to try to fix the problems w/ this drug and that, all the drama of chickens having to be separated b/c they fight or are sick, and work in bringing water out when it's cold here so many months of the year. I'm a busy homeschooling mama w/ two jobs w/ 6 sheep and perhaps a lamb or two on the way this spring, and everyone thinks I'm nuts for coddling my dear old hens. sigh.... am I terrible for considering this option? They've been so spoiled and several of them are rescues who lived awful lives before they came here.
