| Hi! You need to buy the dry ice the day you plan to use it. Home freezers even uprights and chests don't get cold enough to keep it from evaporating. We bought it the night before we were going to trap a coon and when we went to get it out of our upright it had evaporated so my sweet hubby had to go back in town for more. We buy it as a 5 LB block and it would take care of a lot of raccoons. You don't need very much. Best Regards Melissa Rose from South Texas | ||
