Similar to here on the Central Coast in California! It has been so beautiful here for so long, it's almost scary. Day after day of crystal blue skies, WARM temps, in the high 70's and occcaisionally low 80's. The horses all have thick coats, but not terribly so. No rain for a VERY long time, and everywhere trees are starting to dry up. Water is EXPENSIVE here, so no one is watering things. The chickens seem to be OK with the weather though! We recently had a hawk strike right while we were standing out GUARDING our chickens so they could free-range....this one little hen had wandered out of our site and a hawk was on her in a second. It happens so fast. We have an infestation of hawks here, I think. WAY too many.
