Re: [CHICKENS-101] 63 out and windy, balmy

An earthquake would cause a bit of excitement.  Did it shake and moved things around?  Winter is back again. The forecast low is 29. :(  I think it'll go lower. Usually has when I check the thermometer in the early morning. I have about a bushel or more of turnips I grew for my parents in the back of my truck; tops and bottoms trimmed, root hairs off, and washed so I hope it doesn't get too cold. My chickens are getting the buggy ones. Next year all 3 rows of turnips will get wood ash put down and worked into the row right before I plant seeds. I only did 2 of the 3 rows and paid for it.

Warm? What is that? Hmm seems to be a far off memory.
Had a earthquake this evening. I was still at work. Pretty exciting! All is well and good in Anchorage. Now just cold! 12 degrees at the airport at 7:57 pm.

It is 63 outside, :x lovestruck gorgeous. All of my chickens played outside. Even the seramas shot out of their door to get outside. (When it's 40 out they look out and stay in if it is cloudy.)
Wed's high is 37 with a low of 22. :( sad  I hope the rain showers forecast for tomorrow end in the morning so my silkies and seramas can go outside. Once it's cold and wet/snow/rain/sleet none of them want to go out.
Looks like tomorrow is our last warm day for a long time.
