My life is crazy sometimes. It has been more often than not lately thanks to my brother's on going drama. My sister from Minnesota was here for 2 weeks in the middle of it all and just went back home. Anyway if you have private messaged me, and I know several of you have for various reasons, I am trying to get back to you. Finding time to get on the computer, because attachments are involved and not as easy to do on my phone, has proved to be difficult. I WILL get back with you each soon though, I haven't forgotten.
I know many of us have full time jobs, kids, chickens, garden, etc. Now I'm playing catch up with my garden and cleaning coops on top of "normal" everyday stuff.
I had my first loss due to heat on Tues. It was a heavy downed silkie that my dh picked out. Unfortunately it was partly his fault that it was lost, so now he's upset at himself. Dd didn't water as often as she was told to while I was at work. Then dh unplugged the coop fans. He didn't realize that's what he unplugged. They were off for hours in the heat of the day. I'll share pics of her I took last weekend as soon as I can as well.
I better get to bed, we've been starting work early trying to beat the heat. I still think the heat is beating us instead.
