Hi Rhonda.
Are you the Rhonda I know? NH?
Anyhow, my guineas live in the same pen as my chickens. After a battle to get them there. They prefer to live in the trees, but, I don't want them out there in bad weather. To get them to stay in pen at night you will have to keep them penned for, oh, I'd say at least a month. Then let one out and it'll stay close to the rest, then let another out the next day and so on. When you first get them, you need to keep them penned anyhow, for that long, or they will be gone!
They are usually only noisy when disturbed. Work as watch dogs that way as well as tick eaters. They are great at keeping the ticks down. They are also a lot of fun to watch.
