Bait:  The best bait to catch weasels is fresh bloody meat. When trapping on snow, dab the bloody meat in front of the box to add eye appeal. There are gland lures available from trapping suppliers which might help to attract the weasel but I don't think they're worth the money. The best attractant for weasels would be blood.

Weasels can be trapped but you have to be sneaky about it. Weasels are very smart and you don't want to catch chickens. The sign of a weasel is a bunch of dead chickens piled up in the corner. Usually all the chickens. Contrary to some beliefs weasels kill for fun.
One of the smallest of the family that includes mink, martin, fisher and wolverines. Recently DNA studies revel skunks are not related to weasels.
You really wanted the know that, didn't you?
