To me the most telling point made is that national chains and brands like Trader Joe's, Costco, Egglands Best and Horizon are charging premium prices for "organic" eggs that barely comply with the letter of the law and fall far short of the spirit of the law.
Judy's Family Farm which is in Sonoma County where I live is produced at a facctory farm. If you drive by it you would not know there was a chicken on the premises, they are all housed in either battery cages or they are "free-ranging" in warehouses.
The "organic" label on eggs is really meaningless.
