[CHICKENS-101] re black eyed peas and green beans frozen to feed cooked?

 

Ask yourself this; Do chickens cook their food?   LOL!   Had to say it...........What I would do is defrost in pan of cold cold water then give them to them they will be fine. I often serve my chickens treats in large plastic cat boxes filled with water....like bobbing for apples....they have a blast playing in the water and snatching up their treats. I use rices, wild bird seeds, sunflower seeds, veggies and corn. The boxes are empty by days end and the chickens had a cool way to refresh and also take in a little extra water.   I never use this treat thing around chicks since they will get in and drown either by being trampled or by getting stuck in the box.   Sue in IL
