Renee, You are supposed to dress them out by 6-9 weeks.  If yours are having problems I'd dress them out earlier. 
They grow so fast that their skeletons have a hard time keeping up. Cathryn

Thank you so much for the information. It just makes me sick that 5 birds died this way. Ok, so here's my next question, this is my third batch, the first two made it fine to 8 wks with the exception of the legs going out on a few. Why did this happen just post wk 6 this time? Is it the food? The bird? Where the birds came from? Or is it just luck of the draw. I did change the feed. First batch, chicken starter till wk 4 then turkey starter. Second batch turkey starter all 8 wks. This batch turkey starter till wk 4 then chicken starter (non medicated) last 3 wks. This last as it was suggested to me that they would do better with lower protein.
