Good thinking. Mine do roam the neighborhood during the day and come home at
dusk. Although we are in a neighborhood there are some wooded areas.
Look into joining the Atlanta Backyard Poultry Meetup Group. It is full of
great peeps and lots of info and buying, selling, trading, etc. Look forward to
meeting you some day. SUsan

Subject: Re: [CHICKENS-101] guinea question Attn: Susan
Hi Susan:
Thanks for your kind offer but we've decided to go ahead and order 15 babies
from a Hatchery. My husband was a little afraid of starting with older ones
for fear they'll leave the property. He feels if we had the babies, they'd
be in a brooder for several weeks, and then in a yard until such time they'd
be big enough to roam the property, and probably stay close in.
Thanks again.
