Re: [CHICKENS-101] bad shipped eggs

Georgia, Could be, but the eggs were not fertile.  Just spoiled.  They are very old, old eggs.  Egg like you said that sat under a hen for several weeks. Cathryn

I'm wondering if the kid took eggs out from under a brooding hen?  You are right, kids should not be messing with eggs that are being sold as a business.  Same with our member whose kids messed with the incubator heat and killed the chicks.

I received an answer.  Her grandson gathers her hatching eggs for her sales.  The green flaky chicken poop was mud not feces.  For more shipping $$ will send me more eggs.  What is wrong with this picture? In response to my emails that I should not have to pay shipping again and tey should send me viable, clean hatching eggs from the pictured silkies, now they want to refund my $$.  Why does this say to me that, that was the plan all along?  Not send me hatching eggs from their silkies?  Why would anyone have a grandson gather eggs that are being sold on ebay? Advice anyone? Cathryn_,_._,___
